ActivVisionTools - Application Example: Blob Analysis

Blob analysis is a flexible tool for inspecting parts; you can check the presence of certain marks or components and analyze them more closely, e.g. regarding their shape.

The Task ... is to check the presence and the shape of four dark squares on a chip.

good chip

"good" chips have 4 dark squares (about 9x9 pixels size)

bad chip

here, the upper right square is not quadratic

wrong chip

another chip type without squares
