Blob analysisTask: To understand the influence of higher parts of the atmosphere on the weather it is important to know the distributions of different types of crystals. The shape of the crystals determines how and how much of the sunlight is reflected. These crystals are collected using a special liquid film.Solution: With ActivBlobFinder the different objects on the film can be extracted. Features extracted with ActivFeatureCalc are used to distinguish the different types. ActivDecision allows to specify conditions to determine the number of each of these types. To generate the statistical information the results of all images are logged with ActivFile. |
