With the help of ActivLineProfile, you can inspect images and thereby obtain information for improving the setup of your vision system, e.g., adjust contrast or sharpness. Furthermore, ActivLineProfile is very useful to obtain suitable parameters for ActivBlobFinder (see an example application). Typically, ActivLineProfile is used only during the setup of an application, i.e., in the configuration mode, not in the application mode.
