ROIs are specified using ActivView's sub-tool AVTViewROI.

You can align ROIs automatically to moving parts with the help of ActivAlignment.

If the position of a bar code is to be measured in 3D with high accuracy, ActivBarcode should be combined with ActivGeoCalib; if all measurements take place at the same distance to the camera, ActivView's sub-tool AVTViewCalibration might be sufficient.

ActivDataView displays the measurement results in a spreadsheet. You can evaluate these results in ActivDecision by formulating conditions the results have to meet in order to be "okay". Results and evaluations can then be written to a log file using ActivFile, output via the serial interface using ActivSerial, or output to digital I/O boards via ActivDigitalIO.
